is partnering with an elderly care client in the search for a Clinical Training Manager (RGN). This pivotal role will be responsible for developing, planning, delivering, and reviewing high-quality clinical, statutory, mandatory, and other advanced training solutions.
Key Accountabilities:
* Ensure all new Clinical Colleagues are trained with a consistent approach to clinical skills assessment.
* Provide a preparatory programme to support overseas nurses before their Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCE), aligned with NMC expectations.
* Collaborate with your Line Manager to design and deliver a comprehensive nurse induction programme at all levels.
* Support the implementation of the Care Home Assistant Practitioner Programme through training, assessment, and evaluation.
* Ensure all clinical training is evidence-based, in accordance with the Clinical Governance policy.
Key Requirements:
* Deliver clinical training as needed and arrange external training when necessary.
* Provide training in real and simulated environments as appropriate.
* Assess clinical competence post-training to ensure correct application of knowledge.
* Offer clinical skills training based on evidence-based practices.
* Support nurses through their Revalidation process with signposting and mentorship.
* Coach and mentor colleagues to transfer knowledge from training to practice.
* Evaluate training effectiveness and its impact on care delivery.
* Promote awareness and adherence to Group operational policies and procedures.
