The Role of the Territory Manager

6. The Territory Manager's purpose in this role is to increase Cardiac Surgery sales volume and revenue through medical device product sales year on year, whilst maintaining strong customer relations and increasing market share.

7. You must build a network of KOLs/advocates in the Cardiac Surgery field and foster strong relationships to grow market share in the UK.

8. To have a comprehensive knowledge of Cardiac Surgery products and procedures, including product range, technical specifications, prices, features, benefits, clinical applications, and sales strategies.

9. Presentation of Cardiac Surgery products and services to clinicians, theatre managers and nursing staff.

10. Education of customers (and team members) in the practical features, benefits, handling of product, new technologies and the techniques employed in using the equipment.

11. Covering the M62 Corridor/North – Ideally living Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield or York

The Ideal Person for the Territory Manager

20. Strong sales history in medical device sales - preferably devices used in Cardiac Surgery OR exp in working in a theatre/surgical environment and being in blues/scrubs

21. Will also consider Cardiology clinic background looking to get into a more commercial role.

22. Professional Skills- Sales and Territory Analysis, Budget Management, Presentation skills.

23. Ability to meet frequently with customers and other decision makers.

24. Ability to travel frequently throughout assigned territory.

25. Highly developed interpersonal, networking and influencing skills.

26. Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others.

27. Proven experience in managing pressure, deadlines and setbacks efficiently while maintaining commitment despite opposition.

28. Excellent written, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

29. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

30. Excellent organisational skills.

31. Strong personal drive.

32. Full clean Driver's licence.
