Job Overview: We are searching for a dynamic and spiritually driven individual to join our ministry as a Minister of Religion. This role is pivotal in leading and shepherding our congregation, fostering spiritual growth, and contributing to the overall well-being of our church community. Responsibilities:
1. Leading prayer, preaching and teaching the Gospel with clarity, relevance, and biblical authenticity.
2. Provide spiritual guidance and pastoral care to individuals and families within the congregation.
3. Offer counselling and support to congregants facing personal, spiritual, or relational challenges.
4. Conduct pastoral visits to hospitals, homes, and other locations to provide comfort and prayer.
5. Actively engage with the community, building relationships and representing the church in outreach efforts.
6. Participate in administrative responsibilities, including meetings, planning, and decision-making.
7. Develop and implement discipleship programs to nurture the spiritual growth of individuals within the congregation.
8. Provide educational opportunities through Bible studies, workshops, and other learning initiatives.
9. Oversee and actively participate in youth and family ministry, guiding the spiritual development of younger members.
10. Collaborate with youth leaders to create a supportive and vibrant youth community.
11. Lead and support mission and outreach initiatives, both locally and globally.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Ordination or certification as a minister within a relevant religious body.
2. Proven experience in pastoral ministry and leadership.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Compassion, empathy, and the ability to connect with diverse individuals and families.
