We’re working with a private equity-backed technical services buy-and-build platform operating in a highly regulated, safety-critical environment. Backed by an experienced sponsor, the business is entering a period of accelerated acquisition-led growth and is looking to appoint an Integration Manager to take real ownership of post-deal integration.
This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role. You’ll be on site with acquired businesses, working directly with founders and leadership teams to fully integrate new businesses into the group – systems, processes, people and governance. It’s an operational role first and foremost, and will suit someone who enjoys getting into the detail and building trust on the ground.
The role
* Lead end-to-end post-acquisition integration across multiple acquisitions.
* Own the integration plan and drive delivery across systems, operations, finance and people.
* Act as the day-to-day integration lead with acquired business owners and management teams.
* Align systems (finance, HR, payroll, CRM, field/service management) with group standards.
* Harmonise operational processes while respecting what works locally in a field-based environment.
* Ensure health & safety, regulatory and compliance requirements are fully embedded.
* Track and deliver actions arising from operational due diligence.
* Provide clear reporting, risk management and progress updates to group leadership.
What we’re looking for
* Proven experience integrating acquisitions within PE-backed businesses or complex operational environments.
* Background in technical services, engineering, facilities management or similar regulated sectors strongly preferred.
* Comfortable working with entrepreneurial business owners and frontline teams.
* Strong programme and stakeholder management skills with a pragmatic, delivery-led mindset.
* Commercially aware, operationally credible and detail-oriented.
* This is unlikely to suit someone from a purely consulting background unless they’ve since moved into an in-house, operational integration role.
Practicalities
* UK-based role with regular travel across the UK to operating sites.
* Highly visible position with genuine influence on how the platform scales.
