Job Description
3. Process and reconcile invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
4. Assist with month-end processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
5. Maintain accurate financial records and update internal databases as needed.
6. Support the preparation of financial reports and analysis for management review.
7. Handle queries from suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding financial transactions.
8. Monitor cash flow and assist in forecasting activities to support business operations.
9. Collaborate with the wider accounting and finance team to improve processes and efficiencies.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
10. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
11. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
12. A keen eye for detail and excellent organisational skills.
13. Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
14. A proactive attitude with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
15. AAT qualified or part qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
16. 1/2 years experience in a similar role - preferably purchase ledger
17. Experience with Sage 200 would be desirable
