We are seeking to recruit a SEN Case Officer. The successful candidate will work as part of the SEND team in the delivery of statutory duties relating to special educational needs and disability (SEND). This is a full‑time position supporting the coordination and management of Education, Health and Care (EHC) assessment plans for children and young people aged 0 to 25 with special educational needs and disabilities.
We Need
* Experience working with Special Educational Needs and Disability and a good understanding of the associated legislation.
* A high level of resilience and the ability to work as part of a team to inspire, support and challenge others.
* An understanding of co‑production with children, young people, parent carers and stakeholders, and the importance of joint agency working.
* A positive, solution‑focused approach to meeting children’s individual needs, sensitively managing competing and conflicting priorities while maintaining positive, professional relationships.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to remain calm and negotiate effectively.
