The University of Lincoln is looking to hire a Research Assistant (RA) with a strong interest in vehicle simulation.
The work is to support future AI-enabled robotics in agriculture, specifically for developments in all-electric agricultural vehicles, including larger vehicles such as self-propelled sprayers. The focus is on intelligent motor control systems for optimal performance and energy-efficiency. The work will utilize industry-level vehicle simulation software coupled with algorithms coded in Matlab and Simulink.
This is an exciting new project funded by Innovate UK and DEFRA, working with the School of Engineering, the Lincoln Institute of Agri-food Technology plus industry partners. As RA you will join the School of Engineering team at the central university campus.
You should have a BEng, MEng or MSc degree in engineering or a closely related discipline.
