We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Radiographer to join a dedicated healthcare team in Bristol. The ideal candidate will play an essential role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to support patient care. As a Radiographer, you will be responsible for performing a range of imaging procedures, interpreting images, and assisting medical professionals in diagnosing various medical conditions.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Performing diagnostic radiographic examinations using state-of-the-art equipment.
* Providing accurate, high-quality images of the body to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
* Ensuring patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
* Positioning patients correctly for imaging procedures, considering their medical conditions and requirements.
* Explaining imaging procedures to patients and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
* Collaborating with medical professionals to interpret and review images and diagnostic results.
* Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation in line with health and safety regulations.
* Staying up to date with new developments in radiography and medical imaging technology.
Requirements:
* BSc in Radiography or equivalent qualification.
* HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registration.
* Proven experience in diagnostic radiography, preferably within a hospital or clinical environment.
* Familiarity with a range of imaging equipment, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI.
* Excellent understanding of radiation safety protocols.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
* Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today.
