Overview
We are looking for a Multi Trade Team Leader to join our Response/Maintenance business based in the Birmingham area. You will lead a team of Trade Operatives specialising in delivering repairs and maintenance services to our customers' properties.
Responsibilities
* Lead, coach and develop a successful, high performing Operative team, supporting them on site to deliver work to a high quality standard
* Utilise your IT skills, by producing and reviewing productivity reports, confirming weekly timesheets and engaging with customers and the client
* Attend reactive, emergency, and routine repairs, and on occasions planned refurbishment jobs (within void properties)
* Typical repairs can include broken taps, leaking pipes, drainage unblocks, and general kitchen and bathroom repair work
* Work in a domestic environment, you enjoy working with people, whether as a team, or with the residents
Qualifications
* Qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant trade
* Demonstrable experience of successfully leading an on site team
* Ideally experience of working within a domestic / social housing environment, or relevant response environment experience (albeit not essential)
* Having a passion for making a difference to peoples homes, you have strong values in delivering exceptional customer service skills, and enjoy working with people
* Driving license, with eligibility to drive in the UK
