Optimum Recruitment Group have been appointed on an exclusive basis to recruit a Supply Planner/Administrator for our successful growth client based in Leeds.
Reporting to the Planning Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating with suppliers, managing inventory levels, and ensuring smooth delivery schedules across international supply routes.
The role would suit an experienced Supply Planner or a strong Administrator ideally with some knowledge of supply chain processes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Communicating with suppliers to place orders against agreed order programs, confirm delivery schedules and raise purchase orders as needed.
Planning and managing delivery and collection schedules for shipments across international supply routes as well as ensuring that deliveries are timely and within agreed lead times.
Regularly updating customers on the status of their shipments, providing accurate information on expected delivery dates and any delays or challenges.
Manage inventory in line with stockholding agreements and ensure adequate stock levels are maintained to meet demand while minimising excess stock.
