Job Title: Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer – Commercial Properties Location: Newcastle Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent On-Call: 1-in-4 Rota About the Role: We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team, working across a portfolio of commercial properties in Newcastle and throughout the North East. This mobile role focuses on delivering high-quality HVAC maintenance and repairs across multiple sites. You’ll be responsible for both planned and reactive works, and will participate in a 1-in-4 on-call rota for emergency callouts. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on air conditioning systems, including VRV/VRF, split, and multi-split units * Diagnose and rectify faults to ensure minimal downtime for clients * Perform system checks, filter changes, leak tests, and component replacements * Ensure all work complies with F-Gas regulations and health & safety standards * Accurately complete job sheets and maintenance records * Liaise professionally with clients, site contacts, and helpdesk teams * Undertake general FM support tasks as required * Participate in the on-call rota (1 week in every 4) Requirements: * NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (or equivalent) * F-Gas Certification (Category 1) – essential * Proven experience maintaining and repairing commercial A/C systems * Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills * Full UK driving licence * Good understanding of health and safety practices What We Offer: * Competitive salary £40,000 - £42,000 door-to-door travel * Company van and fuel card * Tools, uniform, and PPE provided * 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays * Pension scheme * Ongoing training and development opportunities Apply Today If you're a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer with experience in commercial property maintenance, we’d love to hear from you
