Job Description
3. Lead the organisation's tax strategy and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
4. Manage tax reporting and tax-related financial processes.
5. Provide expert advice on tax-related matters to senior leadership and stakeholders.
6. Oversee preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
7. Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organisation.
8. Identify opportunities for tax efficiency and implement appropriate strategies.
9. Collaborate with external advisors and regulatory bodies as necessary.
10. Develop and maintain effective internal controls related to tax processes.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of Tax should have:
11. A recognised professional qualification in tax or accountancy. CTA or ACA
12. Strong technical expertise in taxation, particularly within the not-for-profit sector.
13. Proven ability to manage tax compliance and reporting processes.
14. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
15. Experience in advising on tax planning and strategy.
16. Effective communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
