Job Description:
The Resolute Group is working in partnership with an International, Engineering and Design Consultancy to assist with expanding their M&E Team who focus on Data Centre Projects.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the Lead Engineer and project teams to develop electronic designs for data center construction projects, ensuring alignment with project requirements and specifications.
* Develop detailed diagrams of electrical installations and coordinate with other disciplines to allocate initial space reservations for equipment and infrastructure.
* Utilize 3D Revit/BIM software to model electrical installations based on diagrams and coordinated space reservations, ensuring accuracy and compatibility with other building systems.
* Address any design challenges or modifications during the construction phase, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to project timelines
* Actively participate in design reviews and project meetings, providing input and feedback to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of electrical systems.
* Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations related to electrical engineering and data center construction, incorporating best practices into project designs and processes.
* Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports, to support the construction and commissioning of electrical systems.
* Demonstrate a commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability in all aspects of electrical engineering design and construction.
Experience:
* A Bachelor and/or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering
* Ideally 3-5 years relevant work experience within the construction industry
* Experience with Revit / CAD software
