We're looking for a friendly, hardworking and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Full-Time Garden Centre & Farm Shop Assistant.
Hours: 32–40 hours per week
Includes some weekend shifts on a rota basis.
About the Role
This is a varied and hands-on position working across both our garden centre and farm shop. No two days are the same You'll be helping customers, caring for plants, merchandising products, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing excellent customer service
* Assisting customers with plant and product advice
* Plant care and maintenance
* Stock replenishment and merchandising
* Operating the till and handling cash/card payments
* Keeping displays clean, tidy and well presented
What We're Looking For
* Retail experience preferred
* Strong customer service skills
* Confident with cash handling and till/Epos systems
* Good communication skills
* A positive, team-focused attitude
* Plant knowledge is an advantage (but not essential for the right candidate)
* Reliable and flexible, including weekend availability
