GVO Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a proven track record in securing and growing commercial cleaning contracts. This is a key role within our company, focused on identifying new opportunities, building lasting client relationships, and driving sustainable business growth.
Key responsibilities
* Proactively source and win new commercial cleaning contracts across London and the South East.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
* Develop tailored proposals, bids, and presentations to secure contracts.
* Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract signing.
* Work closely with operations to ensure seamless mobilisation and client satisfaction.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform business strategy.
* Consistently meet and exceed agreed sales targets and KPIs.
About you
* Demonstrable success in business development within the commercial cleaning industry (essential).
* Strong understanding of cleaning services, client requirements, and service delivery.
* Proven ability to generate leads and convert opportunities into long-term contracts.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* Commercially aware with a results-driven approach.
* Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as part of a team.
* Full UK driving licence preferred.
