We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced 7.5 tonne driver to provide holiday cover starting next week, with a genuine opportunity to secure a permanent position as part of our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operating a 7.5 tonne curtain-sided vehicle
* Safely securing loads and ensuring compliance with transport regulations
* Carrying out thorough daily vehicle checks
* Delivering goods efficiently while maintaining high safety standards
Requirements:
* Proven experience with curtain-sided vehicles
* Strong knowledge of load securing procedures
* Physically fit and prepared for a hands-on role
* A proactive, hardworking attitude (“hungry for work”)
* Flexibility with working hours – early starts and late finishes are to be expected
* Must be local to the area
Working Hours & Pay:
* Average 50 hours per week (hours may vary depending on business needs)
* Work is ad hoc, so flexibility is essential
* £14.70 per hour
