Duties as PE Teacher: Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that promote physical fitness, skill development, teamwork, and resilience Leading and supporting extra-curricular sports clubs and school teams Organising and overseeing sporting fixtures, tournaments, and inter-house competitions Promoting inclusive participation in sport and physical activity for all students Contributing to the development of the PE curriculum and departmental resources Supporting whole-school health, wellbeing, and enrichment initiatives Ensuring high standards of behaviour and safety during all physical activities Working collaboratively with the PE department and wider school staff Ideal PE Teacher: Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Has a strong background in PE and sport, with the ability to teach a range of activities Demonstrates excellent teaching, coaching, and communication skills Is committed to student progress, engagement, and achievement Has good organisational and classroom management skills as a PE Teacher.
