Site Engineer Rate: £350/day Location: Warwickshire Ready to step into a key role on a major civil engineering project? We're looking for a Site Engineer to support delivery on a large-scale infrastructure scheme involving earthworks, drainage, and roadworks. As a Site Engineer, you'll be responsible for the engineering control and day-to-day delivery of works on site, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification. Your responsibilities will include: ·Site setting out and maintaining accurate control records ·Understanding drawings and raising field change requests where required ·Requesting and managing Permits to Dig, including workforce briefings ·Supporting health, safety, and environmental compliance through inspections and task briefings ·Producing as-built records, maintaining site diaries, and keeping detailed documentation ·Managing QA processes, including raising non-conformities, attending inspections, and maintaining quality records ·Monitoring progress and contributing to 6-12 week lookahead programmes ·Measuring materials, tracking productivity, and supporting commercial reporting ·Mentoring and supporting junior/site engineers You'll work closely with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure smooth and effective project delivery.
