Your Role as a SEN / SEND Tutor:
* Provide engaging tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with various educational needs.
* Support students referred by local authorities and schools, helping them navigate their educational and social-emotional journeys.
* Utilize flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed approaches to tutoring and mentoring.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver tailored sessions that meet the unique needs of each student.
* Create engaging and holistic learning experiences that foster educational and emotional growth.
* Document progress through lesson reports and provide constructive feedback.
What We’re Looking For:
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS/QTLS).
* A minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
* Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other additional needs.
* Knowledge of safeguarding processes.
* Enhanced DBS (we can assist with obtaining this).
* Two professional references.
* Must be based in the UK with the right to work, even for remote assignments.
Note: It’s essential that you promote the health, safety, and well-being of children and adhere to safeguarding policies at all times.
Employment Details:
* This role is structured as a Worker engagement, providing short-term opportunities as they arise.
* You will work under a contract for service and be paid via PAYE.
* No guaranteed work hours or expense coverage.
* Our insurance covers the work you do for us.
* This is not a self-employed tutoring position.
