Our Senior Health Care Assistants work closely with the Nurse in Charge to lead a small Care Team in delivering high-quality care for the people we support.

About the role
Our Senior Health Care Assistants work closely with the Nurse in Charge and lead our Care Teams in supporting every aspect of our residents’ day-to-day lives.
No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* supporting people with their personal care
* assisting people at meal times
* understanding individual health and wellbeing needs
* encouraging and supporting people to take part in social activities, both in and out of the home
* promoting choice, dignity, independence and respect
* leading, motivating and supporting a team of care colleagues
* ensuring that care documentation is completed to a high standard

Acer Mews is connected by major roads including the M60, A627, A635 and A6017. The home is on the corner of Holden Street and Union Road, opposite Tibard Laundry. There are limited parking spaces in the home’s car park. Street parking is available on Holden Street.
The home is a short walk from several bus stops. Holden Street bus stop (stop ID: MANDAMDP), which is accessed by bus 396. Crickets Lane bus stop (stop ID: MANDAMPD), which is accessed by buses 216, 231, 237, 337, 350, 356, 357, 387, 389, S350 and Y77. There’s a tram stop within walking distance of the home. Ashton‑under‑Lyne – 0.7 miles away (15 minute walk). There’s also a train station in the local area. Ashton‑under‑Lyne – 0.4 miles away (nine minute walk).
