Our client, a prominent organisation in the Defence and Security sector, is seeking a dedicated On-Boarding Associate to join their team on a contract basis in Portsmouth. This role falls under the Shared Services business unit and involves hybrid working arrangements, with 2-3 days per week spent on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitating the on-boarding process for new hires within the Defence and Security sector
Coordinating administrative tasks to ensure a smooth transition for new employees
Maintaining accurate records and documentation throughout the on-boarding process
Liaising with various departments to ensure all necessary on-boarding steps are completed
Providing support and guidance to new employees regarding company policies and procedures
Handling any on-boarding queries and resolving issues promptly
Ensuring compliance with security requirements and protocols
Assisting in the continuous improvement of on-boarding processes
Job Requirements:
Experience in administrative roles, preferably within the Defence and Security sector
Strong organisational and coordination skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and documentation
Strong communication skills for liaising with different departments and new hires
Understanding of compliance and security protocols
BPSS security clearance or the ability to obtain it
