As we continue to grow, we're seeking a driven and passionate Business Manager to lead the team at the Light, Huddersfield. This is a hands-on leadership role that will suit someone from the hospitality or leisure sector who has managed large, high-volume venues and led multiple teams. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, embrace innovation and deliver results.
What you'll do Guest journey - drive an industry-leading guest experience, deliver brand standards and lead your managers and teams to deliver consistently
Sales growth - drive footfall to the site and maximise spend per head through innovation and local initiatives
Cost control - take full P&L ownership, managing all cost lines with particular focus on cost of sales, labour and energy
Team development - plan, recruit and coach your team so the right people are in the right roles and performing at their best
Operational excellence - ensure all processes are efficient, fully documented, trained in, and regularly audited
About you 3+ years' experience in multi-offer hospitality, with proven success in managing large venues and multiple operational teams
Strong track record managing a full P&L in a complex business
Commercially and financially astute, with excellent problem-solving skills
Solid knowledge of food and beverage operations, stock management, scheduling and recruitment
Confident working with POS and business systems (e.g. Fourth Hospitality)
Advanced knowledge of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety procedures
Hands-on, detail-focused and approachable, with a warm and welcoming leadership style
