Gas Supervisor role at TieTalent. Salary: £44,571.10 per annum + on call payments. Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester. Contract Type: Permanent. Hours: 39 hours per week (+ on call escalation as part of a rota). Closing date: 18/09/25. Interview date: w/c 22nd September 2025. Interview location: Soapworks, Salford Quays, Manchester.

Role purpose
As our Gas Supervisor you’ll harness effective working relationships within the operational team and wider business to provide a professional gas service that delivers an excellent customer experience, driving first time fix to all gas repairs, whilst ensuring value for money.
Responsibilities
* Adhering to all relevant regulations and organisational policies and procedures.
* Carrying out Work In Progress, H&S and post-inspection audits within the gas team.
* People supervision including van checks, 1:1s, absence management, providing support and guidance as required.
* Carrying out periodic inspections of recent electronic Landlords Gas Safety Records.
* Visiting sites and carrying out appropriate investigations following complaints or damage reports and undertaking investigations to repeated failing appliances.
* Mentor and monitor all new starters.
Qualifications and requirements
* Hold a Certificate of Competence (BSEN17024) CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CPA1 NVQ Level 3 Gas Utilisation (or equivalent).
* Can undertake gas and heating repairs in customers homes and annual gas safety checks of domestic dwellings.
* Experienced in dealing with customer complaints and complex gas repairs.
* Personable, approachable and able to motivate, engage and upskill team members.
* Hold or be willing to work towards obtaining commercial ACS.
Please note due to the role you will be expected to take part in an out of hours management escalation rota. The appointed candidate will undergo a Basic DBS check and a full valid driving licence is required for the position.
