Experience the beauty of one of the country's oldest national parks while leading a dedicated housekeeping team Snow Mountain, LLC is located in Lassen Volcanic National Park, home to scenic hiking trails, picturesque lakes perfect for fishing and kayaking, and rustic cabins and campgrounds for outdoor enthusiasts.
Position Summary:
As Housekeeping Lead, you'll assist in managing the housekeeping and public areas department, ensuring outstanding service for our resort guests while supervising and supporting the housekeeping staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervision & Coordination: Oversee daily housekeeping operations, assign duties, and ensure efficient coverage of all guest areas.
* Training & Development: Train new staff on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and chemical use, maintaining high service standards.
* Quality Control: Inspect rooms and common areas, addressing any deficiencies immediately to uphold resort standards.
* Inventory Management: Maintain cleaning supplies and linens, placing orders to ensure adequate stock.
* Guest Relations: Handle guest concerns or complaints regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
* Collaboration: Work closely with front desk and maintenance teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
* Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned to support the team and guests.
Position Requirements:
* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
* Experience assisting in employee supervision
* Flexibility to work day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
* Strong communication skills, capable of handling stressful situations calmly
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and carry up to 25 lbs
Education & Experience:
* Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required
* Experience:
o Minimum 2 years in hospitality
o Minimum 2 years in management
o Resort/National Park experience preferred
* Housing: Rental housing available, double occupancy
