Lincolnshire County Council's Design Services Team is offering two career-grade opportunities for both Engineers and Technicians. Applicants at any career level, from entry to experienced, are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
* Scheme assessment and selection
* Drainage investigations
* Development of policy, procedures and guidance notes
* Providing technical support for complex issues
* Managing highway pumping stations
* Collaborating with other Regional Management Areas (RMAs) to solve issues
Hybrid Working and Travel
Work is hybrid, with a typical week requiring presence at Lancaster House, Lincoln, for two days, with the possibility of additional days when service needs dictate. Travel around the county for service needs is essential.
Grades and Salary
* Engineer – £39,152 – £42,839
* Assistant Engineer – £35,412 – £39,152
* Senior Technician – £32,579 – £35,412
* Technician – £27,254 – £30,024
Qualifications
Fluency Duty: The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
