Pay
Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 an hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
It is policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week. If you would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12), we have opportunities and would love to hear from you.
Flexibility and Scheduling
The times shown are the availability windows we would like you to be available to work. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times and provide 3 weeks' notice of exact shift times. We support flexibility, so if your availability closely matches but does not exactly align with the advertised times, we still encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
* Know your customers and serve them with passion and pride.
* Be knowledgeable about products and services in the store.
* Work across service, picking, and replenishment areas as required.
* Apply training to work safely, effectively, and to superbly serve customers.
* Make customer-focused decisions and deliver store routines that meet customer needs.
* Participate in seasonal, community, and charity events to create an inclusive atmosphere.
* Understand store performance and contribute to driving service, sales, waste reduction, shrink, and profit.
* Handle products with care to maintain quality for customers.
* Represent the Tesco values and follow policies; be welcoming to all.
* Be prepared to accept deliveries into the store when required.
