We are looking for an experienced legal professional to join our Intermediate Track Team in a dual‑capacity role that blends technical expertise with hands‑on case management. This position is ideal for a solicitor or CILEX‑qualified lawyer with litigation rights who thrives on complex litigation work and enjoys mentoring others.
Key Responsibilities
* Case Management: Handle a portfolio of Intermediate Track cases, including litigated matters, ensuring timely progression and resolution aligned with client expectations and business objectives.
* Technical Leadership: Act as a subject‑matter expert, providing guidance, mentoring and technical support to colleagues across the post‑litigation process, while ensuring compliance and quality standards.
* Drafter of Legal Documents: Prepare high‑quality pleadings, applications, interlocutory applications, supporting documents and assistance to submissions.
* Advisory: Offer advice on complex litigation issues, procedural strategies and risk management.
* Team Development: Share best practices and deliver training sessions to develop the wider practice.
* Compliance: Ensure adherence to professional standards, regulatory requirements and internal compliance frameworks.
* Process Improvement: Collaborate with management to improve processes and enhance client service delivery.
Qualifications
* Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with litigation rights.
* Proven ability to manage a personal caseload efficiently.
* Strong drafting skills for applications, pleadings and supporting documentation.
* Experience working to performance targets and KPIs.
* Excellent time‑management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise under pressure.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of delivering clear, practical guidance.
* Strong problem‑solving ability and commercial awareness.
* A collaborative mindset with a commitment to team success.
* Interest in emerging technologies such as AI (desirable but not essential).
