TPF Recruitment is delighted to be working on behalf of a growing and well regarded accountancy practice based in Tunbridge Wells, who are looking to recruit a Client Manager on a part time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounts professional who enjoys building strong client relationships, delivering high quality work, and working collaboratively within a supportive team environment. Working closely with a Senior Client Manager, you will support a varied portfolio of clients, ensuring their accounting, tax and advisory needs are met accurately and on time. The role offers a good balance of hands on technical work and client interaction. Key responsibilities include: Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts Reviewing accounts payable and receivable functions Payroll preparation and payment processing Review and completion of VAT returns Bookkeeping duties Supporting and guiding junior team members Monitoring deadlines and compliance requirements Working with colleagues to resolve client queries and identify opportunities for improvement Contributing to process improvements and efficiencies Requirements You will ideally have: AAT Level 4 qualification as a minimum At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role within practice Strong communication and interpersonal skills The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or FreeAgent Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Benefits Circa £35,000 FTE Supportive and inclusive team culture Company pension Health cashback plan On site parking Death in service benefit A genuinely friendly and people focused working environment
