About the role:
This is a new role within the business and great opportunity to get started in a supported environment.
A full time role, working Monday to Friday, alongside our experienced sales and purchase ledger team. This role would suit someone looking to begin a career in accountancy, or applicants considering a career change and are happy to start in an entry-level position.
Duties will include:
1. Administration duties within the sales and purchase ledger team – including matching of delivery receipts, processing of invoices, ensuring correct nominal and departmental codes are used.
2. Maintaining sales ledger processing using Sage, Mandata and internal systems.
3. Working within the reception department to undertake general administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, collating documents and liaising with internal departments for outstanding paperwork.
4. To answer and direct calls according to agreed standards.
5. To meet, greet and direct visitors to the office.
6. Set up and clearing the meeting rooms (equipment and refreshments) as and when required.
7. Liaising with the company PA with regards to meetings in the diary and the requirements for these.
8. To frank and deliver the outgoing mail to the Post Office daily and purchase any items required.
A full driving licence is required for this role; however, we are happy to consider applications from anyone currently working towards gaining their licence.
