Document Controller
Location: ideally, the successful candidate will be based within commutable distance from our Head Office in Brinkworth, near Swindon working on a hybrid basis – 3 days at Head Office, 2 days at home.
We would consider applications from people who are based within commutable distance from Exeter, in which regular meetings with local colleagues would be expected.
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE
Hours: Full time – 37.5 hours per week

What You’ll Be Doing
* Implementation of project documentation according to international norms and standards
* Interface between the project teams and support for branch offices regarding document management topics
* Administrative tasks for DMS (Document Management System) platforms
* Contract review and negotiations regarding document management project deliverables
* Preparation and alignment of the Clients Document List (CDL) for new projects in cooperation with the project manager, project teams, subcontractors and clients
* Responsible for the project documentation and correspondence. Provide all contractually obligated documents for the client based on the CDL
* Provide project documents via the DMS and keep all documents up-to-date including administration of the user accounts
* Creation and control of the workflows for the document approval process
* Provide IFC (Issued for construction) and the final as-built documents for the finalization of the project documentation towards the client
* Central contact for all document management related topics on a project basis (internal and external)
What We’re Looking For
* Experience using DMS (Document Management System) platforms.
* MS Office experience (Word, Excel, Outlook etc)
* Demonstrates exceptional process-oriented thinking
* Excellent communication skills
* Assertive team player
* Fluent in English
* An understanding of engineering, procurement or construction sectors would be highly advantageous
