In this role, you will provide essential support to pupils with complex needs, including learning difficulties, physical disabilities, Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), speech and language delays, and global developmental delay. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children thrive academically and socially, and who wants to play a key role in their educational journey Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with complex needs, ensuring they can access learning effectively. Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored lessons and interventions, adapting resources to meet individual needs. Implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation. Monitor and record pupil progress, reporting observations to the teacher and SENCO to inform planning. Support pupils in developing social and communication skills, fostering confidence and independence. Ensure a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment, following safeguarding and school policies at all times. Requirements Experience working with children with complex needs (essential). Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). Valid Right to Work document for the UK. A proactive, patient, and resilient attitude.
