Position Details:
* Role: General Cover Supervisor
* Location: Various mainstream, secondary schools across Newcastle upon Tyne and the surrounding areas
* Ofsted Rating: Many of the schools are rated 'Good'
* Timings: 8:00 AM - 15.30 PM
* Start Date: ASAP
Role Expectations:
A successful Cover Supervisor will:
* Build a strong rapport with students quickly
* Remain calm, confident, and engaging in unfamiliar settings
* Teach a variety of subjects using pre-prepared resources
* Maintain class discipline and keep students focused on their learning objectives
* Good communicator
Cover Supervisors are essential in maintaining the continuity of students' education during short-term teacher absences. This role is crucial across all types of schools and educational stages.
