MSFS Fund Accountant - Associate (Glasgow)

What will you be doing?
The Fund Accountant is responsible for the end‑to‑end process of a client’s accounting requirements, including overseeing the full P&L and balance sheet and daily net asset value reporting. You will develop knowledge of alternative investment funds, calculate daily NAVs, analyze performance, and finalize month‑end P&L and balance sheet for client sign‑off. You will also support client queries and collaborate with colleagues worldwide.
* Calculation of daily Net Asset Values (NAVs) – P&L analysis, review position and cash reconciliations, and report trading issues to clients
* Review monthly capital movements and ad‑hoc corporate‑action activity
* Analyze performance and review income/expense journals for validity
* Review and finalize month‑end P&L and balance sheet for client sign‑off
* Produce investor‑level allocations of income and expenses at valuation points, including calculation of management fees
* Work alongside the client relationship manager to support client queries and partner on initiatives
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified/Part‑qualified ACCA/CIMA/CA accountant or equivalent experience
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
* High degree of accuracy and ability to multitask
* Ability to work to tight deadlines and think critically
* Problem‑solving skills and ability to identify efficiencies
* Sound judgment in escalating risk
* Solid Excel skills desirable
* Interest in learning new skills and developing technical knowledge
