We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual as full time Pharmacy dispenser, to join our team at Riddings Pharmacy Alfreton
As a Pharmacy Dispenser your duties will include but will not be limited to;
* Taking in and handing out prescriptions
* Labelling and dispensing prescriptions using dispensary computer system and in accordance with standard operating procedures to ensure safe supply to patients in an efficient and accurate manner
* Dispensing controlled drugs and make necessary entries in the CD register in accordance with standard operating procedures and complying with relevant legal controls
* Highlighting medicine interactions, dose changes and other issues pertaining to prescriptions to the pharmacist
* If required, assist in front of shop during busy periods.
Required skills: Candidate must have strong communication, numeracy and literacy skills, must be keen towards self-development and must be able to pass Disclosure & Barring Service check. Good Customer service skill and Telephone manner.
Qualification/Certification required: An ideal candidate will hold a NVQ level 2 or 3 in Pharmacy services or equivalent
