Teaching Personnel are working closely with a number of special educational needs (SEN) schools across Bolton and are seeking full-time SEN Teaching Assistants to join their teams.
These roles are based within specialist primary and secondary SEN settings, supporting pupils with a wide range of needs. This includes secondary-aged students who may be working at a primary or early developmental level, requiring patient, consistent, and adaptive support.
The Role:
* Provide full-time classroom support in SEN school settings
* Support pupils with needs including ASC, ADHD, SEMH, SLD, PMLD, and complex needs
* Assist with learning activities, lesson delivery, and differentiation
* Support behaviour management and emotional regulation
* Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
* Assist with personal care, hygiene, and sensory engagement, where required
* Help maintain a calm, structured, and inclusive learning environment

* Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school, care, or support settings)
* A calm, patient, and resilient approach
* Confidence supporting pupils with complex or additional needs
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
