As a Nursery Practitioner, you will help create a warm, inclusive and stimulating environment, working as part of a supportive nursery team. This role is ideal for a caring, motivated Early Years Educator / Nursery Nurse who is committed to safeguarding and high-quality practice. Key Responsibilities Support children’s learning and play under the guidance of Level 3 staff Help set up activities planned by senior practitioners Assist with daily routines (meals, hygiene, naps, transitions) Observe children and contribute to observations (but not usually lead them) Follow EYFS plans rather than create them independently Maintain a safe, clean, nurturing environment Support daily routines including meals, hygiene, sleep routines and smooth transitions Support safeguarding procedures and report concerns to senior staff Requirements Level 2 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (essential) Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting (preferred) Ofsted / child protection / paediatric first aid (desirable) Good knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and child development Warm, patient and confident with excellent communication skills Ability to work effectively within a team and support positive nursery culture Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available) Suitable for: Early Years Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Childcare Practitioner, EYFS Educator, Early Years Educator Nursery Company Culture As a Nursery Practitioner, you’ll join a supportive nursery team where children’s wellbeing and development come first.
