This role is Monday – Friday 8 am-4 pm
What You Will Do
As a Logistics Operator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and safely. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Support the Logistics department's management of Raw Material deliveries and Finished Goods shipments using SAP.
2. Be responsible for cycle counts to ensure stock levels are accurate and minimum stock holdings are reconciled and managed to support the manufacturing process.
3. Support and contribute to the safety procedures and safety culture on site.
4. Build relationships and liaise with external Essity sites to manage Logistical operations.
5. Support the safe operation and maintenance of the Forklift fleet on site.
6. Support the inbound / outbound delivery schedule to manage logistics operations with external hauliers.
7. Ensure housekeeping is maintained to protect stock holding .
8. Analyse data to produce KPI information for review and presentation to the management team.
9. Support the continuous improvement process to identify opportunities for improvement.
Who You Are
We’re looking for someone who brings energy, reliability, and a safety-first mindset to the team. Ideally, you’ll have:
10. A strong commitment to Health & Safety.
11. Valid FLT licences Counterbalance (Forks / Bale handling / Reel handling)
12. Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
13. Confidence to work independently and manage your own workload.
14. Familiarity with warehouse management systems.
15. Exposure to Continuous Improvement initiatives.
16. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
