Position Summary
This position helps to divert the University’s landfill waste through on-site composting and increased recycling. The Waste Coordinator will play a key role in managing waste on campus, including the campus compost effort, data collection and analysis, move-out, and assisting with the Food Recovery Network. Occasionally must be able to pick-up and transport food scraps for composting.
Responsibilities

* Manage waste on campus, including the campus compost effort, data collection and analysis, move-out.
* Assist with the Food Recovery Network.
* Occasionally pick up and transport food scraps for composting.
Work Schedule
Students are asked to have office hours Monday through Friday, during the hours of 8am-5pm. Ideally, the candidate may start working for a few hours during the 2024 Spring Semester to be mentored by the existing Waste Coordinator.
