Role: Commercial Lawyer – Public & Private Sector

Overview
We are seeking a commercial lawyer to provide legal support to business teams during a period of increased transactional volume. Responsibilities include advising on high-value contracts, supporting bids, resolving complex contractual issues, and ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead on complex, high-value commercial transactions
* Provide pragmatic legal guidance across bids, disputes, and governance matters
* Liaise with internal teams and external counsel to manage legal risk and ensure contract compliance
* Contribute to strategic projects and drive legal process improvements
* Act as a point of contact for stakeholders, offering legal and commercial insights
* Ensure activities comply with regulatory, competition, and internal policy requirements
Experience & Skills
* Qualified lawyer (2+ PQE) with strong commercial contracts experience
* Experience in telecoms/technology sectors and public sector procurement preferred
* Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
* Business-minded, pragmatic, and detail-oriented
