* To be directly responsible to the Executive Director of Governance and Operations for the strategic and operational management of the following services:
o Centralised Patient Booking Service
o Centralised Out Patient services
o Delivery of Access targets : RTT and Non RTT Performance
o Cancer Services and Performance against Standards
* Work closely with clinical and managerial colleagues to ensure that the Trust has clear and deliverable trajectories for the delivery of elective access and cancer standards.
* Support the Director of Governance and Operations in the delivery of all aspects of strategic and operational performance relating to the job purpose.
* Work with the Assistant Director of Operations (Urgent Care), Director of Transformation and Assistant Director of Governance & Risk to ensure that safe, responsive, effective and efficient patient care is consistently delivered throughout the organisation.
* Support the Director of Governance and Operations and Assistant Director of Operations (Urgent Care) in preparing the organisation for EPR operational readiness.
* Support the delivery of the elective access improvement programme and the out patient improvement programme.
