Job Description:
Mydas Recruitment specializes in sourcing candidates for the manufacturing & engineering sectors. Due to recent expansion, our client, a leading manufacturing organization, requires a CNC Programmer to join their established team.
The ideal candidate should have experience in:
* Creating and modifying CNC programs using Siemens NX to facilitate machining of production parts according to engineering designs.
* Analyzing part designs to plan logical machining strategies.
* Verifying CNC programs using appropriate software prior to production release.
* Performing programming assignments independently.
* Working efficiently under tight schedules.
* Maintaining a safe working environment.
* Supporting additional business needs as required.
Essential Criteria:
* 2+ years experience in 3-axis CNC programming with a recognized CAD/CAM system.
* 1+ years experience in 5-axis CNC programming with a recognized CAD/CAM system.
* 2+ years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
