My client is seeking to recruit an Interim Assistant Financial Accountant for a 12 month fixed term contract for their Solihull office. The successful candidate will be tasked with supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts. In addition, they will calculate and post accruals, prepayments, and other adjustments during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. It is essential that applicants have experience of reviewing and reconciling key profit and loss nominal ledger accounts as well as preparing balance sheet reconciliations as part of the month-end close. In addition, duties will include assisting with monthly reporting, including variance analysis and commentary for Group reporting. As well as ensuring the accurate processing of invoices and resolving queries related to outstanding invoices. Applicants must be able to discussing how to prepare quarterly VAT returns and offer knowledge around the preparation of statutory accounts and corporate tax returns.
