Role Overview
You'll be responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable function, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding debt. The ideal candidate will be confident, organised, and proactive in resolving issues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and manage the aged debt report
* Proactively chase outstanding payments via and email
* Maintain accurate records of all client communications
* Work closely with internal departments to resolve invoice queries
* Allocate incoming payments accurately and efficiently
* Provide regular updates to management on debtor positions
* Support month-end processes and reporting
Requirements:
* Previous experience in credit control or accounts receivable
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Confident working independently and managing priorities
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and finance/accounting software (Sage, NetSuite, etc.)
