Overview
The Finance Officer role is a temporary position in a small not‑for‑profit organisation based in York. The role focuses on managing financial transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing reports, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting payroll, aiding audits, and providing general administrative support.
Responsibilities
* Process and record financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
* Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
* Prepare financial reports and assist in budget monitoring.
* Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and policies.
* Assist in processing payroll and maintaining employee records.
* Support the preparation of audits and financial reviews.

Qualifications

Compensation & Benefits
* Hourly rate between £13.00 and £16.00, depending on experience.
