Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking motivated, dynamic Healthcare Support Workers to join our Bank. Candidates will work alongside an experienced and specialist workforce, providing optimal care for our patients.
Main duties
Our Bank Healthcare Support Worker will support a variety of Adult wards and departments as part of a multi‑disciplinary team. You will demonstrate our Trust’s ICARE values.
After a qualifying period, you will have the flexibility to choose from early, late, long day and night shifts, helping you achieve a positive work‑life balance.

Person specification
Training & qualifications
* Literacy level 1 or equivalent (GCSE D‑G, 3‑6)
* Numeracy level 1 or equivalent (GCSE D‑G, 3‑6)
* The Care Certificate
* NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent in Health or Health and Social Care, or working towards an award
* ESOL level 2 or equivalent (if English not first language)
Experience & knowledge
* Experience in a public facing/customer care role or environment
* A minimum of 12 months care experience
* Previous experience in a Health/Health and Social Care role
* Previous NHS experience / Understanding of NHS/Social care systems
Skills & ability
* Good written and verbal communication in English
