Job Description:
Driver Provider UK is seeking HGV Class 2 drivers in the Barnsley area for both day and night shifts. The role involves working on a 4 on 4 off rolling rota, including weekends. Candidates should be professional, positive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Requirements include category C or CE driving entitlement, valid CPC, digital tacho card, and understanding of domestic regulations. Training will be provided, and candidates must pass a pre-employment driving assessment. Duties include managing emergency flood situations, emptying septic tanks, and related drainage tasks. Shifts are typically 12 hours, with potential for longer hours in emergencies.
Shift Options:
* 45 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 07:00-17:00 with an hour lunch, flexible start/finish times
* 4 on/4 off days and nights
* Night shifts: 17:00-05:00; Day shifts: 05:00-17:00
Essential qualifications include Drivers CPC, CSCS, First Aid at Work, and a clean license (<6 points preferred). Additional preferred skills include HPWJ, confined space rescue, working at heights, ADR, and manual handling. Ongoing training and PPE are provided.
