We’re working with a welcoming secondary school looking for an enthusiastic Music Teacher who can bring energy, creativity, and structure to the classroom. The department is well-supported, the school values the arts, and there’s real opportunity to make music a subject pupils genuinely look forward to.
The role includes:
* Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 available if you’re keen
* Delivering engaging lessons in performance, composition, and music theory
* Supporting pupils of mixed abilities and building confidence through practical music-making
* Contributing to choirs, ensembles, or extracurricular music activities
* Maintaining clear routines and positive behaviour in the classroom
The school is looking for someone who:
* Holds UK QTS (or is working towards it)
* Has experience teaching Music in a UK secondary school
* Can engage pupils through a practical, inclusive approach to music
* Brings creativity, organisation, and a calm classroom presence
* Enjoys being part of the wider school community

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
