Assitant Quantity Surveyor - CF46065 Bennett & Game Recruitment are working in partnership with a well-established and forward-thinking specialist contractor based in Derby, delivering projects across demolition, earthworks, civils, and groundworks. With a strong reputation for delivering full 'destruction to construction' solutions, our client is known for their collaborative approach, value engineering expertise, and ability to deliver high-quality projects efficiently and safely. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding commercial team. Key Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and submission of applications for payment Support the pricing of variations and maintain accurate cost records Issue contractual notifications to clients where required Coordinate and manage the distribution of construction drawings Assist in the preparation of valuations and final accounts Monitor project budgets and carry out cost analysis Support procurement of materials and subcontractor packages Requirements Experience within construction or groundworks (preferred but not essential) HNC/HND qualified or working towards a construction-related degree Strong numerical and analytical skills Excellent communication and organisational ability Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant systems Proactive, driven, and keen to learn Full UK driving licence What's on Offer Salary typically between £30,000 - £35,000, depending on experience and level of study Clear progression and support towards further qualifications A young, ambitious, and supportive team environment Exposure to a wide variety of interesting and challenging projects Long-term career development within a growing business Bennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.
