Overview
We are seeking an experienced ICT support / field engineer to join our established and growing team on a full time basis, covering a wide range of ICT duties for a specialist Education focused managed service provider.
Responsibilities
* Provide support and consultancy by telephone, remote support and on-site on a day to day basis.
* Attend daily site visits in Thurrock and Basildon areas and possibly further afield on rare occasions.
* Travel as required, with use of a car and a full UK driving licence.
Requirements
* 1+ year relevant experience.
* A full UK driving licence and vehicle.
* An Enhanced DBS (the cost of which will be met by the employer).
* Strong understanding and experience with current Windows Server products and services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy).
* Strong administration and maintenance experience with Microsoft 365, including Office 365, Intune, Google Education, etc.
* Desktop and Server hardware upgrade/installation and troubleshooting.
* Knowledge of up-to-date Windows desktop operating systems and applications.
* Experience with helpdesk systems (managing and responding to support requests with SLAs).
* Good networking experience (TCP/IP topologies, switches, routers).
* Security solutions (Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, Firewalling, UTM).
* Onsite and offsite backup and recovery services and procedures.
