Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the sales department by managing administrative tasks, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring efficient sales processes. This position requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in various software applications.
Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support to the sales team, including managing schedules and coordinating meetings.
* Maintain and update customer records in CRM software to ensure accurate data management.
* Assist in the preparation of sales reports and presentations using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
* Process sales orders and manage documentation related to sales transactions.
* Respond to customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction.
* Collaborate with other departments, such as IT and finance, to ensure seamless operations.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management as needed.
* Utilise Sage for invoicing and financial reporting tasks.
* Maintain a well-organised filing system for all sales-related documents.
Requirements
* Proven experience in sales administration or a similar administrative role.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
* Familiarity with CRM software and Sage is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* High level of computer literacy with a keen attention to detail.
* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
